SSAAANZ Online Conference 2025
The SSAAANZ Online Conference for 2025 is almost here! From Wednesday 12 to Thursday 13 November scholars from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand will be showcasing a range of emerging and dispersed screen studies research and creative practice. We’re also fortunate to have two amazing keynote speakers for the conference: Associate Professor Jani Wilson (University of Canterbury) and Senior Professor Sue Turnbull (University of Wollongong).
We’ve updated our website with further information about the conference including registration and our initial schedule (a full program will be released soon). Registration is free for all current SSAAANZ members, and Zoom links will be sent to all registered attendees at the start of the conference week. Conference presenters will also be able to nominate for two prizes: The Stephen Gaunson Award for Best Higher Degree Research or Independent Scholar Paper, and The Sue Turnbull Award for Best Popular Culture Paper. Details for how to nominate are included on our website.
Please email the conference organisers at ssaaanzonline2025@gmail.com if you have any questions, and you can visit our site for registration and further details here: https://ssaaanz.com/2025-online-conference.
We hope to see you there!
